MEET TRACEY…
I Know What It’s Like To Get Stuck In Unhelpful Patters…
Embracing My Own Journey:
As a middle child, neurodivergent athlete and artist, my path has been anything but linear. From a young age, I was quiet and often felt insecure, struggling with internal doubts that seemed to define my existence. These feelings held me back, making it difficult to reach my full potential.
For years, I was disconnected from my body and didn’t move with intention. I was trapped in patterns that felt predictable, restricting my growth as an athlete and an artist. The barriers I faced weren’t just physical - they were mental and emotional too. I am not a Division One athlete but that doesn’t define my worth or my journey - my story is about a dream being interrupted by the weight of pressure and self-doubt.
Over time, I learned that breaking through these barriers required more then just strength and willpower. It demanded deep understanding of myself a willingness to challenge the status quo, and a commitment to seeing myself as capacle of much more then I had believed.
Today, I embrace my differences as part of my unique identity. I’ve discovered hwo to intentionally break the predictable patterns, to tune into my body and mind, and to grow beyond the limits I once thought were set in stone. Embracing your insecruities and your strengths will unlock your peak potential. I inspire to you to breka free from your own limitations. Your potential is boundless when you learn to trust yourself and break free from teh patterns that no longer serve you.
I have a multifaceted and deeply empathetic approach to my work, blending my expertise in trauma therapy with my personal passions for athleticism and use of imagination to be curious for deepened awareness.
I’m a clinical counselor and somatic experience practitioner, specializing in Polyvagal coaching. In other words, I’m a therapist focused on recent advancements in mind-body connection that allow us to change our sensory reaction to stress in order to maximize the way we perform in our various fields, with a soft specialty in athletic performance.
My focus on somatic experiencing through a polyvagal lens suggests a holistic understanding of how trauma manifests in the body and how it can be healed. I offer a bottom-up approach—showing how patterns actually appear in our lives vs getting caught up in the stories we tell ourselves about those patterns. We can learn together how your physiology creates the narrative beneath our awareness (in our automatic nervous system).
Reorienting our negative automatic responses to shift toward feelings of safety will allow for productivity and meeting our true intentions in how we want to show up in this wolrd - in the office, in relationship, as a parent, as a student and/or an athlete.
My desire to help others become aware of their physiological patterns aligns with a proactive and empowering approach to therapy. By fostering this awareness, I am enabling individuals to understand themselves more deeply and live more authentically.
