Our Journey is about being more deeply involved in life and yet less attached to it.” - Ram Dass

Grief + Loss

I offer children, adolescents and adults two types of bereavement services:

Anticipatory Grief Counseling. I help children and their families who have a loved one facing a life-limiting illness and end-of-life transition. I also provide parents and caregivers psycho-education and coaching around how to best support their child through the grief process.

Bereavement Counseling for Families. I offer individual and family counseling to grieving families following the loss of a loved one. I like to work with my clients in any stage of the grief process.

“Grief can be the garden of compassion. If you keep your heart open through everything, your pain can become the greatest ally in your life’s search for love and wisdom” - RUMI

Art Therapy + SE

A central component of Somatic Experiencing is the “felt sense.” The felt sense is the embodiment (bringing awareness inside the body) of one’s ever-changing sensory/energetic/emotional landscape. The felt sense moves our focus from actions and things happening outside us in the world to qualities of our present, internal experience (e.g. textures, colors, sensations).

Body Mapping

Introducing several ways of working with art in connection to somatic bodywork such as: resourcing, strengthening through imagery, and body mapping. A body map shows where you are holding your trauma and where your resources are in your body. It also includes defence mechanisms, schemas and archetypes.
